Camden Yards Revitalization
In 2010, the Orioles and the MSA began a two-year project of enhancements to Camden Yards in advance of its 20th anniversary in 2012. As the first of its generation of urban baseball parks, Camden Yards required architectural interventions that could expand group seating and marketing options for a digital fan base as well as accommodations for new requirements for disability access. DAIQ oversaw modifications and upgrades to the main seating bowl and coordinated a new project masterplan incorporating landscape design, sculptures, and graphics. Working with Delaware North, DAIQ designed upgrades to all project concessions and designed DEMPSEY’s, a craft brew bar/restaurant in the historic B & O Warehouse.
