The Al Sharq redevelopment project has transformed Kuwait City’s waterfront. Focused around a new marina, the development comprises a mix of retail, amusement and public recreational facilities. A public promenade runs along the water’s edge connecting all of the buildings within the complex.

The centerpiece of the project is a 300,000 sf Festival Marketplace designed to take maximum advantage of its waterfront siting. The project also includes a Fish and Produce Market, a health club, and 2.5 km of public waterfront.
