The MGM Music Hall at Fenway Park is a + 5,100-person, 3 seating tier theater, being constructed on the corner of Lansdowne and Ipswich streets. It is a collaboration between the Boston Red Sox and Live Nation. The theater will occupy approximately 86,500 square feet, stand four (4) levels high, and contain numerous concession and lounge areas. The goal of the project is “to create an iconic performing arts venue that will host a variety of performing arts, educational and civic events on a year-round basis”. In conjunction with the Music Hall, the project will also include upgrades to the ballpark’s bleacher area located under the ‘New Balance’ sign. The last 4 rows will be removed to make room for new concession stands, bar, restrooms and other elements to enhance the fan experience.
